Custom-made Formliners

Nowadays builders and designers not only have to build their structure but have to be aware of its impact on the immediate environment. Concrete is still one of the most durable and most economical building materials. When being liquid it offers nearly unlimited possibilities for architectural designing.

In this respect, the RECKLI system, i.e. the elastic stripping of concrete, offers both planner and constructor decisive advantages.

The elasticity of the formliners makes removal from the mould possible without breakage either to the concrete or the mould. This system gives architects , planners and property developpers the freedom in being able to realize almost any requirements in designing. The reusability of approximately 100 times guarantees economic efficiency.

RECKLI formliners are available in more than 200 standard designs. Beside this large range, we can also manufacture special moulds and formliners to the customers´own designs. This brochure illustrates the variety of its application by a selection of some one off patterns.

Artistic talent, traditional experience and a sound ability are not much in evidence nowadays or are so expensive that the reconstruction measures and restoration necessary cannot be carried out to any great degree by solids tonemason or stucco work. This sort of work would only be executed in rare cases, were it not for the assistance provided by modern moulding and casting techniques. Decorative elements, columns, ornaments etc. can be reproduced just as splendidly as modern reliefs and new stylistic creations.

Some constructions like the stadium of the theme parc Le Puy du Fou in France or the hotel Colosseo in the Europapark in Germany are inspired by historic monuments and are realized in a proven economy by using RECKLI moulds. Patterned concrete helps to integrate noise absorbing walls, earth retaining walls and bridges into the environment. The use of a patterned concrete façade allows the architect to produce subtle nuances to the building, using light and shadow. The façade becomes an advertisement of the building like for the Infineon-Building in Unterhaching near  Munich or the warehouse of the Chateau Ducru in the french Médoc.

Elastic moulds and formliners made of RECKLI-Elastomers will assist in the realization of the varied imaginations of designers, whilst maintainig the required conformation to technical standards. The master patterns and the elastic mould are often made in our own factory. However, we do not only supply the finished moulds but also offer the liquid RECKLI Elastomers for the customer´s own manufacture of moulds.
